baby lions, part 2

around dusk simon, our guide, spotted two female lions from about a mile away. as we came within a hundred feet i saw this out of the corner of my eye:

we were a bit nervous, as we’d been warned that lions can be aggressive when defending their young. fred, our driver, therefore drove us to within 40 feet instead of the customary 15-20 feet for lazy lions. the encounter verified that young children can be annoying to parents, regardless of species.

this was clearly punishment for being a pest.

got dark (when lions are more active…), so headed home. video coming soon!
